Located just 2.5 miles from Sancerre in the heart of Bué, Domaine des Vieux Pruniers is headed by Christian Thirot-Fournier and his wife, who sustainably farm 10 hectares of Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Noir. Fruit for their Sancerre ferments in steel, followed by several months of aging on the fin lees. The final wine is flinty and floral, with fruit-forward notes of citrus, stone fruit, and zesty pear.
