Domaine du Pélican began experimenting with skin-macerated (10 days) Savagnin back in 2018 and we absolutely love it. The wine is tense and vibrant, marked by flavors of apple cider, yellow plum, lemon skin, and salt. Savagnin shares the same DNA as the Traminer variety and is really a jack of all trades.
