Domaine Tempier Bandol Rose 2018


Provencal royalty Domaine Tempier has done it again with their 2018 Bandol Rosé, one of Provence’s most highly sought-after benchmark bottles. All fruit for Domaine Tempier’s rosé is farmed organically and biodynamically. The assemblage is Mourvedre dominant (55%), rounded out with Grenache (25%) and Cinsault (20%.) Juice is partially direct pressed and partially skin-macerated, followed by fermentation and aging in stainless steel and concrete for seven months. The final wine shows floral, fruit-driven flavors of strawberry, peach, and pomegranate, balanced by a lively, citrus-driven acidity. Food-friendly, ageworthy, and downright delicious.
