Dominique Lafon Meursault 2020

Dominique Lafon began crafting wines under his own name (separate from his family estate) back in 2008 and now produces some of the richest & most respected white wines in all of Meursault. His 4.5 hectares are farmed organically and biodynamically, leading to small quantities of highly sought-after wines. This dense yet refined Meursault is loaded with flavors of fleshy stone fruit, citrus rind, grapefruit juice, fresh cut herbs, baking spice, and crushed wet rocks. Well-integrated oak and firm acidity lead to a lasting and thought-provoking finish. Rich and round, with a striking, flint-noted acidity that pairs with creamy pastas, whole roasted chicken, and rich soups. Drink this now or pop it over the next decade.
