Flavio Roddolo Dolcetto d'Alba Superiore 2015

Flavio Roddolo farms six hectares of vines around the famed hills of Monforte. His traditional wines are characterized by their rusticity, ageworthiness, and incredible balance. Flavio chooses not to release his wines until he feels they are ready, which often ends up being much longer than the DOC/DOCG requires. This soft and spicy red is almost too easy to drink, noted with flavors of violets and purple fruit. Great with lamb, pizza, or pasta!
