Founded in 1991 by Bob Varner, Foxglove’s wines highlight the unique growing sites of California’s Edna Valley, located just south of San Luis Obispo. Ocean proximity, mild winters, and morning fog create optimal conditions for crafting classic Central Coast wines. The 2016 Zinfandel is destemmed and vinified mostly (94%) in stainless steel, leading to a juicy and silky wine loaded with notes of dark fruit, bramble, and spice.
