Francois Carillon St. Aubin 'Murgers des Dents de Chien' 2016

Francois Carillon recently took over his father’s five hectares of Puligny-based vines, as well as 1.5 hectares from a neighbor, bringing purity and elegance to his array of (mainly) Premier Cru wines. Wines show a distinct sense of place and a strong mineral character; the 2016 ‘Murgers des Dents de Chien’ is ripe and juicy, with notes of fleshy peach, pastry dough, and minerals on the palate, showing bright acidity and weighty texture.
