Giacomo Conterno Barolo 'Cerretta' 2014

Regarded as Piedmont’s greatest producer of Barolo, Giacomo Conterno founded the estate in the early 20th century, producing world class Nebbiolo from 16 hectares in Serralunga d’Alba. ‘Cerretta’ was purchased in 2008, adding to the winery’s knockout line up. The 2014 is elegant and age-worthy, showing fragrant notes of red fruit, forest floor, and tobacco. Bright acidity and gritty tannins ensure a long, complex life ahead.
