Giacomo Conterno Barolo 'Francia' 2007

Known for producing some of Piedmont’s greatest Nebbiolo and Barbera, Giacomo Conterno has become regarded as regional winemaking royalty, crafting world-famous cuvées for the last 100 years. ‘Francia’ is a classic Barolo, showing powerful body, alcohol, and present tannins, as well as incredible aging potential. The 2007 vintage is uniquely dark, as Conterno passed on bottling his famed ‘Monfortino’ during this drought year. Concentrated and weighty, with a long lasting, intense finish.
