Hailing from Piedmont’s Roero region, ‘Bricco delle Ciliegie’ comes to us from Giovanni Almondo, named after the vineyard from which it grows. Vines are deeply rooted into sandy, limestone oils, with fruit vinified in an 80/20 combination of steel and oak. The 2017 shows a straw yellow/green in the glass, with notes of jasmine, citrus, and apple. Fresh and fruity on the palate, with almond and saline undertones; a perfect aperitif wine.
