Herve Souhaut Collines Rhodaniennes 'Les Marecos Rouge' 2017

Hervé Souhaut founded his domaine in 1993, comprised of five hectares of old vines in the Rhone Valley. Souhaut produces his wines from whole bunches and semi-carbonic maceration, giving way to balanced, elegant bottles. This Syrah dominant (75%) bottle is rounded out with 25% Merlot, fermented in steel and fiberglass and aged 8 months in barrel. The final wine is silky and juicy, with notes of dark fruit and earth-- too easy to drink!
