Hervé Souhaut founded his Rhone-based estate back in 1993, which is comprised of five hectares of old vines. He produces his wines from whole bunches and semi-carbonic maceration, which leads to balanced and elegant bottles. This Syrah dominant (75%) bottle is rounded out with 25% Merlot, fermented in steel and fiberglass and aged 8 months in barrel. The final wine is silky and juicy, with notes of dark fruit and earth-- too easy to drink!
