Hervé Souhaut founded his domaine in 1993, comprised of five hectares of old vines in the Rhone Valley. Souhaut produces his wines from whole bunches and semi-carbonic maceration, giving way to balanced, elegant bottles. Fruit for ‘Les Cessieux’ comes from Saint-Jo and shows traditional flavors of bacon fat, dark fruit, and earth spice, noted with floral aromatics and a lingering, unforgettable finish.
