Father-son duo Hubert and Laurent Lignier produce 24 cuvées from nine hectares of vines, ranging from village to Grand Cru designation. Vineyards are farmed organically, with as little intervention used in the cellar as possible. The 2014 Gevrey-Chambertin is delicate and elegant, with notes of cherries, cocoa, and soily undertones, marked with cedar and moderate tannins. Tangy, structured, and age-worthy.
