Located within Sicily’s smoky Etna region, I Custodi’s vines are deeply rooted into the appellation’s volcanic soils, creating a serious sense of place within the wines. Fruit for ‘Pistus’ comes from sandy, volcanic soils, macerated, whole-cluster fermented, and aged in concrete. Savory and spicy, the wine’s dark fruit flavors and violet undertones pair gorgeously with lamb, grilled veggies, and meat ragu.
