I Vigneri Salvo Foti Etna Rosso 2017

Founded by Salvo Foti, I Vigneri is an association of local Sicilian winemakers, seeking to highlight the distinct growing sites of Etna. Fruit for the ‘Rosso’ grows at soaring altitudes of 700 meters, in sandy, volcanic soils, experiencing large diurnal temperature swings and intense weather patterns. The wine is a 50/50 blend of Nerello Mascalese and Nerello Cappuccio, showing savory notes of flowers, stones, and smoke. Great with pizza!
