Jean Foillard Morgon 'Les Charmes - Eponym' 2017

Jean Foillard is a legendary pioneer of the natural wine movement, farming fourteen hectares with a ‘non-interventionist’ mentality in the heart of Morgon. Fruit for ‘Les Charmes - Eponym’ comes from 45 - 50-year-old organically farmed vines. Post-harvest, juice is vinified whole-cluster and fermented with native yeasts followed by aging in neutral wood. The wine’s silky texture and dark fruit flavors make it a seriously versatile on the table.
