Although most of Dutraive’s vineyards are located in Fleurie, this rare parcel was saved by Jean Dutraive himself, after the family’s big move to the more northerly cru. South-facing vineyards with vines ranging up to 100 years in age produce sappy, concentrated, with minimal winemaker intervention along the way. A Thanksgiving must-have.
