Jolie-Laide Valdigue 'Rosewood' Rose Mendocino 2018

Former Wind Gap winemaker Scott Schultz brings his winemaking talents to Jolie-Laide, a small production winery situated in the heart of Sebastopol, California. ‘Rosewood’ is made from organic old vine Valdiguié (1940s), whole cluster pressed and fermented naturally, followed by aging in used oak. Notes of blood orange, grapefruit, and quinine dominate the palate, leading to a strawberry-orange tinged finish.
