Julien Cecillon St Joseph 'Babylone' 2016

Founded in 2011 by Nancy Kerschen and Julien Cecillon, an American and native Rhone duo, Cave Julien Cecillon seeks to produce terroir-reflective wines, using a combination of “modern techniques and Old World traditions.” Fruit for ‘Babylone’ comes from 25 & 115-year old vines, 25% of which is left whole bunch, aged for 17 months in used wood. Notes of cherry, purple flowers, and black pepper dominate, giving way to a garrigue-noted finish.
