Larkmead Cabernet Sauvignon 'Dr Olmo' Napa Valley 2014

Founded in 1895, Larkmead is one of the longest standing, family-owned estates in Napa. The estate’s 45 hectares sit on a combination of gravelly, clay, and loam soils, with winemaker Dan Petroski seeking to bring out the complexity and diversity of each specific vineyard site. ‘Dr Olmo’ spends 20 months in French oak, creating a wine full of sappy black fruit, graphite, and earth flavors. Dense and full-bodied; will easily age for 2+ decades.
