Founded in 1895, Larkmead is one of the longest standing, family-owned estates in Napa. The estate’s 45 hectares sit on a combination of gravel, clay, and loam soils, with winemaker Dan Petroski seeking to bring out the complexity and diversity of each specific vineyard site. In 2014, their entry-level Cabernet was blended with 7% Petit Verdot creating a textured, dark wine, full of cassis, cola, and pencil shaving undertones; supple and savory.
