Founded by Joel Burt and Eric Wareheim, Las Jaras seeks to create balanced, low-alcohol wines full of juicy food-friendliness and supple character. Fruit for this savory and spicy varietal Carignan comes from 55 year-old vines and is 50% whole cluster fermented in tank, followed by aging in both tank and barrel. Crunchy and bright, this easy-drinking, high-acid red is perfect for warm weather days, barbecues, and afternoon lunches outdoors.
