Lauer is now in the 5th generation and committed 100% to Riesling—we’d be hard pressed to find a more authentic evocation of steep-slope Mosel terroir. In fact, this is one of the most reputable producers of the region, so when we get a fresh allocation we take bets on how fast it will go. Especially this outstanding, textured bubbly for less than $45. There's a lovely minerality that lasts through the finish. This beautiful bottle makes a lovey apéro or would be perfect with delicate seafood and soft cheeses.
