Founded by longtime friends Eric Railsback and Justin Willett, Lieu Dit seeks to highlight the unique microclimates and soils of Santa Barbara, focusing on grape varieties of the Loire Valley. The 2016 Chenin Blanc comes from 30+ year old vines, fermented in tank and aged in neutral oak; fruit-forward and refreshing, with notes of pear, apple, wet stone, and chalk. Delicious with fresh seafood, salads, and pork chops.
