Headed by Madame Lalou Bize-Leroy, perhaps the region’s most important name, Maison Leroy’s history begins back in 1868, when Francois Leroy, founded the négociant business in Auxey-Duresses. Lalou took over in 1971, bringing meticulous perfection and taste to the family business. The 2016 Bourgogne Blanc is lengthy and crisp, showing notes of tart green apple and lemon, with a chalky minerality and pronounced finish.
