This 50/50 blend of Piedirosso and Aglianico grows in dolomitic soils, ferments for 12 days, and ages 66 months in French oak. The final wine is spicy and ripe, with notes of cherry, cassis, and licorice. Supple tannins give way to a hearty, lasting finish.
