Mayacamas Merlot Napa Valley 2009

Mayacamas Vineyards was first founded in 1889 by John Henry Fisher and was renamed to its current title back in 1941. The estate has been producing high-quality and balanced wines for over fifty years and focuses on early harvests, meticulous farming, and use of neutral oak to keep wines bright and vibrant. This decade-old Merlot is still fresh and vibrant, marked by flavors of dark plum, wild berries, black cherry, sage, and rose petals. Bright acidity and elegant tannins lead to an energetic yet supple finish. A classic year for Mayacamas Vineyards.
