The Monteraponi estate is located in the village of Radda, situated in the heart of Chianti. Fruit comes from vineyards planted at 400-500 meters above sea level and is vinified as naturally as possible (native yeasts in cement tanks, bottled unfined and unfiltered.) This Chianti macerates on the skins for 25 days and is aged in large oak botti, leading to a vibrant wine noted with flavors of tart cherries, earth, and baking spice.
