Nervi Gattinara 'Valferana' 2013

Founded in 1906 by Luigi Nervi, this namesake winery is the oldest-recognized estate within the Gattinara DOCG, producing wines from 24 hectares of Nebbiolo vines, rooted in clay soils. The 2013 ‘Valferana’ is grippy yet bright, showing flavors of red berries, leather, and earth spice. Pair with lamb, heavy poultry dishes, or red meats.
