Situated in the heart of western Sonoma, Peay Vineyards comprises 20 hectares of Pinot Noir, Syrah, and Chardonnay with a handful of Rhone white varieties scattered in. The winery was founded in 1996 by Nick Peay and Vanessa Wong, who farm all vineyards organically and operate the winery via solar power.
Graceful and linear, lean and crisp. Early season orchard aromatics lead to hints of herbs and slight yeasty qualities. Can be enjoyed now or saved for a few years. A fresh and persistent Chardonnay that would marry well with spring veggies, light seafood, or pasta with olive oil.
