Pian dell'Orino Rosso di Montalcino 2015

Pian dell’Orino’s six hectares of vines sit next to Biondi Santi, the most iconic and influential name in all of Montalcino. Vines are farmed organically and biodynamically, producing pure, high-quality wines, from low-yielding plants. The 2015 Rosso is lively and fruit-forward, with notes of wild forest berries, crushed rocks, and wet soil. Tight acidity and firm structure give way to a lengthy finish. A knockout!
