Pierre Cotton Cote de Brouilly 'Les Grilles' 2017

Former motorcycle mechanic turned vigneron, Pierre Cotton’s holdings now cover 5 hectares across some of Beaujolais’ most prestigious growing sites. Fruit for ‘Les Grilles’ comes from organically farmed Gamay rooted in yellow and pink granite, clay, and diorite soils, aged 11 months in used oak. The final wine is fleshy and chuggable, showing a unique sense of place. Stony minerality and thirst-quenching acidity make this one a go-to!
