Pernand-Vergelesses from PYCM is always a good idea. Fruit for ‘Sous Frétille’ comes from a sunnier, more south-facing vineyard site than Corton-Charlemagne and is vinified in 10% new oak. Notes of stone fruit, toast, white blossoms, and ginger dominate this textured wine, which is also marked by a strong stony minerality. Juicy, balanced, and seriously delicious!
