This Mencia-based blend is produced at the hands of one of our favorite Spanish winemakers. Fruit undergoes a short maceration and is fermented under a veil of yeast in chestnut barrels, followed by aging in oak. The wine is delicate, aromatic, and loaded with flavors of red fruit, potting soil, and violets. Think of it as the leaner and juicier sibling of St. Jacques.
