The Lequin family’s winemaking history is nothing short of impressive, dating back nearly 350 years (1673). Their nine hectares are mostly split between Chassagne-Montrachet and Santenay and have all been farmed organically since 2009. Fruit for ‘Retour Aux Racines’ comes from the ‘Lavau’ parcel in Santenay, which is dominated by chalky soils. Fruit ferments and ages for 12 months in oak, followed by three months of élevage in steel. Bottled nfined and unfiltered.
