Ronco del Gnemiz Colli Orientali del Friuli Rosso 'Buri Bellaria' 2019

Ronco del Gnemiz was established in the 1960s by the Palazzolo family, situated on the top of the hill of Rosazzo in Friuli. Clay and limestone-rich soils allow fruit to optimally ripen, while Adriatic breezes and mountain influence from the Alps keeps acidity high. The fruit for 'Buri Bellaria' 100-year-old Miani vines of Merlot and Refosco, fruit is picked together and then co-fermented. This is such a tasty, interesting wine that we'll be eating with charcuterie and grilled meats this summer.
