Rudi Pichler Riesling Federspiel Wachau 2016

Rudi Pichler’s family has tended vines in the Wachau since 1731, dominated by Gruner Veltliner and Riesling. Rudi took over in 1997, farming the family’s 15 hectares of south-facing terraced vines with a ‘wine caretaker, not winemaker’ philosophy, creating pure, energetic wines. The ‘Federspiel Riesling’ is aromatic and bright, with notes of citrus, flint, and wet rocks; food-friendly and versatile, pair with fish or fresh salads.
