Stolpman Gamay 'GDG' California 2018

Located 15 miles off the Pacific Coast, Stolpman Vineyards is situated in Ballard Canyon, benefiting from various microclimates and large diurnal temperature swings. Vines were planted in 1992, with plantings covering nearly 50 hectares. This varietal Gamay is carbonically macerated/whole-cluster fermented, aged in neutral puncheon for 4 months. Notes of sour cherries, flint, and wet stones dominate this ultra-juicy, chuggable cuvée.
