Franz Strohmeier farms eight hectares in Styria, the ‘Green Heart’ of Austria, experimenting with natural methods and crafting hands-off, expressive wines. His NV Frizzante is produced from organic Blauer Wildbacher, a native variety to Steiermark, fermented in stainless steel with secondary fermentation occurring in bottle. The final wine is a beautiful rose gold color, showing flavors of grapefruit and tart stone fruit.
