Tegernseerhof Gruner Veltliner Smaragd 'Loibenberg' Wachau 2016

Martin Mittelbach is the fifth-generation of his family to run the Tegernseerhof estate, which dates back over 1,000 years in age. Progressive winemaking meets antiquity at this Wachau based winery, with dry, steel-aged bottles dominating production. Fruit for ‘Loibenberg’ comes from terraced vineyards rooted in gneiss/loess soils, creating a wine full of lemon, lime, and marine salt flavors; aromatic and bright with gorgeous tension.
