Headed by Lorenzo Mocchiutti and Federica Magrini, Vignai da Duline farms seven hectares in Italy’s Friuli region, implementing a holistic, chemical-free approach to their farming. Grapes are hand-harvested and sorted, with fermentations executed naturally. The 2014 ‘Morus Nigra’ is made from organic fruit, aged 11 months on its lees in oak; complex and aromatic, with flavors of dark fruit, white pepper, and spicy, floral undertones.
