Weingut Nigl’s 25 hectares of vines are located in Austria’s renowned Krems Valley, dominated by rocky gneiss terroirs. Large diurnal temperature swings lead to longer ripening seasons and complex fruit. The estate’s Zweigelt based rosé shows the same zesty acidity and refreshing brightness as their world-class whites. Lees contact and barrel aging adds a textured weightiness to this red-fruited gem.
