Charles Ballot took over this family estate in 2001, cultivating vines across five Premier Cru sites in Meursault, as well as other various appellations. Under Charles’ reign, yields were lowered and chemicals were eliminated, producing pure, native-yeast fermented wines from ten hectares of land. The 2015 ‘Perrieres’ is aged 12 months in barrel, giving way to a ripe yet racy wine, full of complex minerality and mouthwatering salinity.
