Charles Ballot took over this family estate in 2001, cultivating vines across 5 Premier Cru sites in Meursault, as well as other appellations. Under Charles’ reign, yields were lowered and chemicals were eliminated, producing pure, native-yeast fermented wines. The 2016 ‘Perrieres’ is weighty yet balanced, showing notes of ripe yellow fruit, nuts, and rocky minerality. Pair with poultry or rich seafood dishes.
