Eleni and Edouard first met in New Zealand while working harvest in 2010, marrying and moving back to Edouard’s native Chablis shortly after. The duo has been working to convert Vocoret’s 50 hectares to hand-harvests and lutte raisonée methods, creating exciting, energetic cuvées. The 2016 ‘Le Bas de Chapelot’ is aromatic and intense, with notes of citrus, wet rocks, and spicy minerality. Barrel-aged and medium-bodied; delicious!
