Cesar Fernandez Diaz Castilla y Leon Tinto 'Carremolino' 2018

Cesar Fernandez Diaz's mother's family kept vineyards and produced wines for locals. His interest in entering viticulture was solidified during his university studies, and seeks to craft wines with character, tension, and vivacity. Carremolino comes from two biodynamic plots in Peñaranda de Duero, cultivated with Tempranillo, Bobal, and Albillo Mayor. This is an old vineyard, some of it pre-phylloxera, and the rest dating to the early 1900s. Enjoy an aromatic, medium-bodied red wine, elegant enough to serve at a dinner party, with conversation-starting intrigue.
