Domaine Didier Fornerol Cote de Nuits-Villages Blanc 2011

Former vineyard & cellar manager at Domaine de l’Arlot, Didier Fornerol left to take over his family’s estate back in 1999 and now works six hectares in the Côte de Nuits. This medium-bodied Chardonnay shows flavors of yellow stone fruit, lemon zest, brioche, and white flowers. Now with nearly ten years of age on it, the wine is beginning to show tertiary flavors of mushrooms, truffles, and wet earth. Simply stunning! An amazing bottle to pop for a taste of white with a touch of age.
